Please upload only your best work. This is not a Group for Digital Works. Any Traditional Medium will be accepted: Watercolour, Oils, Pastels, Acrylics, Pencil Crayons, etc. Please…Traditional Mediums only; no digital. All styles accepted, i.e. impressionist, realist, fun, colourful =) This Group would like especially to encourage wild animal art (as opposed to domesticated animals), so wild animal art will be more likely to be featured.
The name of the Group is more or less self-explanatory. Traditionally Painted Animals only =) All animals will be accepted. There is a Sister Group to this one dedicated solely to the beautiful birds. Other pretty things can appear in the image but animals must be the focus. But in addition:
1. Nothing political allowed. Nothing trying to make some kind of statement about some kind of opinion about some kind of issue or whatever. I hope that is clear =)
2. No nudity of any kind—that is to say, not even on a statue or anything like that. No profanity. Nothing obscene. Nothing that you would not want a child to see. This group is to be kept pristine.
3. Please, only two uploads a day per member.
4. Please do not send anything gross or grotesque to this Group.
5.This Group will not accept any images of animals being used or killed by humans in any way—for example a catch of fish, or sheep being sheared, or horses being ridden.
6. Any work which does not follow these guidelines will be removed, and any artist who continues not to follow them will be removed from the group.
