Wear Your Love Like Heaven by Polly Peacock
Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend, my 81 year old Mom just amazes me! This photograph is reminiscent of the past, as we used to take so many pictures like this in our younger days. However, there would usually be four or five of us piled up on one another! When I’m with my Mom, I feel that we both wear our love like heaven, especially during special moments like this, only to be captured in a split second. I wanted to get her out into nature and this small wetland park is right down the street from where she lives. Peace and tranquility reside there, with the sounds of birds chirping their favorite songs, frogs ribbiting and the sounds of the breeze, gently caressing the wetlands. Notice my t-shirt. It is now my favorite shirt and I literally wear the living heck out of it. When I take it off, it tries its best to walk to the washing machine, but I always catch it and put it back on! I constantly get compliments wherever I go!! I was only 10 years old, but I’ve always loved it and remember listening to Donovon when he put out this incredible song of love. Donovon’s other songs are just beautiful as well! Featured in One for the Album in June 2009. Thanks so much…I am so honored!! This is Rhett, our youngest son, with our Beagle, Baby. He had picked up her toy, and left his remote toy on the ground….well she had gotten it, and he didn’t like it. LOL So Logan got it from Baby, and gave it back to Rhett, at which time as soon as Baby noticed….she ran and jumped on Rhett to get the remote, and instead kissed him. LOL He loved it!!!
