We could still drive over this bridge until about 8 years ago (though I question my sanity for having done so). This bridge crosses the Brazos River between Bosque County and Johnson County in Texas. The bridge was built in 1914.

This old truck is on an acreage just east of Calgary.

This rusting hulk of Studebaker is near the I-40 exit for Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Parks. I identified the maker by searching on the internet and located this picture of it which identified it as a Studebaker. I am wondering when that photo was taken because it looked nowhere near as rusty as it did when I photographed it.
Taken in Denmark in WA

This group is home to those of us that can can get lost in taking shots of rusting cars, trucks, tractors, farm equipment and trains. Go into ecstasy over a falling down log home or cabin, old grain elevator; enthuse over a refurbished vehicle or a mint condition classic. If this describes you join us!
GUIDELINES:
“Old Things – 3 per Day”
A group for those of us who enjoy antiques and nostalgia in vehicles and structures both dilapidated and refurbished.
We want to see tractors, boats, trains, clocks, nostalgia (ie:The Old Country Store), watches, rusty things, old dilapidated or dated wooden structures, grain elevators, etc.
We would ask that you try to include a date or era of when the object in your image took place. For instance, if you know the age of an old car, or truck, please add it. We are looking for objects no newer than 50 years old. So if it’s around the 1959 year and under please add it. This group is for “Old Things”,,,,,,,,50 years and older. No pets or people photos please, they will be rejected.
As of November 9/09 Guidelines Changes, we are no longer accepting brick buildings, concrete or brick ruins, pillars, old highways and such. Artists enter “Only Your Best Art Works” – a photo YOU are truly proud of.

Toy Room by Garry Quince
This is a beautiful warm photo done with little post processing. It gives us a feeling of wanting to be in this room with it’s pleasant appeal. I also love the shadows cast on the floor from the various toys. Congratulations Garry!
