About This Group

For all users of any Nikon brand Camera. We will explore the Nikon and related lines of products offering a knowledge base from both the hosts and members. We seek the users of this pioneering photographic equipment manufacture for the purposes of networking, education, research and display of the fine works possible with Nikon brand camera gear.

:

From the earliest rangefinder to today’s point and shoot and DSLR all Nikon users are welcome. Since we are a Nikon Users Group all submissions will prominently and proudly display which great Nikon camera gear created your wonderful images.
While the cameras must be a Nikon product, lenses and accessories for Nikon have been manufactured by a myriad of aftermarket manufacturers and these products are also expected to be highlighted, after all they only add to the greatness of the world’s greatest camera. Digital manipulations using Nikon software are welcome as well as long as a description of the software and workflow steps are included.
This is a community of sharing and education so it is required that EXIF data be included in the description of all submissions. Educational journals are both encouraged and welcomed. So share your experiences, your techniques and inventions that help you make a great photograph.
We would encourage members to submit at least one journal annually explaining their techniques used to create their favorite work of the year.
While some Nikon users are gear heads others simply choose to use the best, we seek to provide a place for both to thrive and grow in their art.
