My friends live in a great old house with a courtyard of hand-made bricks. The moss makes it look very artistic. This was taken with my Sony Cybershot in natural light.
This particular abandoned Lunatic Asylum I visited didn’t have many artifacts left so imagine my delight when I stumbled across this Dentist Chair! Small things please small minds I guess.

An old homestead along Fish Creek Alaska is slowly being reclaimed by nature.
This wonderful ruin of an old gas station made of petrified wood and wonderful brickwork used to be a striving station in Glen Rose, Texas until they changed the route. It is now without any roof and the only occupants you might find are likely snakes, mice, and insects. / Kodak ZD710 / / Stonecliff, WV / / Again we have some 100+ y/o foundations that have been reclaimed by the forest. These, from what I could gather, are the foundation pillers for the power house for the lower part of the mine at Stonecliff, WV.
Fifteen years ago, $45,000.00 later, gardens all around and a lawn as green as could be this house was a dream until the owner holding my mortgage died in a fire, and the house was taken away from me by his greedy son. However, he lost custody as well through the tax man, now Mother Nature has gained full custody of this one time lovely country home. Good for Mother Nature! /

The powerhouse was built in 1895. Vintage generators are still in place at the powerhouse, as is the control switchboard, faced with Tennessee marble.
