The Challenge

The 7th in our new challenge layout catering for all aspects of nature for us nature lovers.

As you can see the title will start with the category which will make it easier for me when choosing what challenge to do next, I can see the challenges I have already run in this category.

For this challenge please add your images of LOBSTERS.

Interesting Facts

> Lobsters are invertebrates, with a hard protective exoskeleton.

> Like most arthropods, lobsters must molt in order to grow, which leaves them vulnerable.

> Lobsters, like snails and spiders, have blue blood due to the presence of haemocyanin, which contains copper.

> Recent research suggests that lobsters may not slow down, weaken, or lose fertility with age. In fact, older lobsters are more fertile than younger lobsters. This longevity may be due to telomerase, an enzyme that repairs DNA sequences of the form “TTAGGG”

> Lobsters are omnivores, and typically eat live prey such as fish, mollusks, other crustaceans, worms, and some plant life.
