The Challenge

The 7th in our new challenge layout catering for all aspects of nature for us nature lovers.

As you can see the title will start with the category which will make it easier for me when choosing what challenge to do next, I can see the challenges I have already run in this category.

For this challenge please add your images of PIGEONS & DOVES.

Interesting Facts

> Pigeons and doves are stout-bodied birds with short necks, and have short slender bills with a fleshy cere.

> Unlike most other birds, however, they are capable of drinking by sucking up water, without needing to tilt the head back.

> Young doves and pigeons are called ‘squabs’.

> Unlike most other birds, the doves and pigeons produce “crop milk”, which is secreted by a sloughing of fluid-filled cells from the lining of the crop. Both sexes produce this highly nutritious substance to feed to the young.
