The Challenge

The 4th in our new challenge layout catering for all aspects of nature for us nature lovers.

As you can see the title will start with the category which will make it easier for me when choosing what challenge to do next, I can see the challenges I have already run in this category.

For this challenge please add your images of TURTLES/TORTOISE.

Interesting Facts

> The first known turtles existed 200 million years ago.

> Not all turtles and tortoises hibernate. The blood of hibernating turtles acts somewhat like antifreeze, allowing it to tolerate cold temperatures.

> The smallest turtle, the Speckled Padloper is 4". The largest is the Leatherback sea turtle, that can reach up to 10’ in length.

> Some tortoises can dig burrows 45 feet long.

> A group of turtles is classically called a bale.
