The Challenge

The 2nd in our new challenge layout catering for all aspects of nature for us nature lovers.

As you can see the title will start with the category which will make it easier for me when choosing what challenge to do next, I can see the challenges I have already run in this category.

For this challenge please add your images of DOLPHINS.

Interesting Facts

> These marine mammals are related to whales and porpoises.

> Delphinids travel in large pods, which may number a thousand individuals in some species.

> This means that they cannot go into a full deep sleep, because then they would suffocate. Dolphins have “solved” that by letting one half of their brain sleep at a time.

> The deepest dive ever recorded for a bottlenose dolphin was a 300 meters (990 feet).

> Dolphins evolved from land animals.

> Dolphins use echolocation to navigate and to find food.
