The Challenge

For those of you who don’t know, sunday 14th March is Mothering Sunday in the UK. As a mother myself I make the most of putting my feet up or doing something for myself and the rest the family spend the day waiting on me.

Of course in nature its a totally different ball game, yes mothers don’t spend as many years as us nurturing their young, but they do spend most of their life with young, feeding and looking after them. Some are lucky enough to live in packs or groups where other family members get involved and for others they are lucky enough to have both parents taking it in turns to do the job of looking after little one or little ones.

Either way mothers large and small from the across the world do a very good job (Fathers don’t worry, your turn will come).

To celebrate this fact, your challenge is to show photos of Mother & Young.

No young on their own, no adults on their own. This is a challenge to show the nurturing side of nature.

Rewards & Prizes

1st place winners will have their photo used as the group Avatar until the next challenge is finished.
Then 1st, 2nd and 3rd will have their photo’s permanently posted on the groups Feature Board.
