I do firmly believe nothing man can ever do for The Spirit of God can be without The Spirit of God involved. Therefore, it shall be understood that it is through the movement of the Holy Spirit (The Great Spirit) things get revealed to man by God and for God. I have felt this movement of the Holy Spirit in my own life… and this is the very reason I feel so strongly about this topic, subject and have such passion for Jesus Christ Himself. No man will know of God through earthly eyes but by eyes that have been opened to the truth of God, and at the time of God’s doing… this is but one of God’s many mysteries. It shall remain a mystery why one man will find God and another would deny God.

I can think of none as an example to use much better than Paul, for by the writing we get from him… while still in prison… he speaks of the joy of the spirit, an example for us all in the ‘great commission.’ To realize the importance of being “a servant of God,” a position that is one that goes beyond simply belief to being active in the fields of man… this is to prosper the word of God and share of “the good news” of the gospel. To truly reach man God must change his heart but to allow God the chance to do this is to change your mind and to seek Him. God will never change your mind for you… and would have you do this on your own (free will) but when you find you have a change of mind God can change your heart. If it is to be found that it is your heart that bears burdens from your past… from your own personal experiences… then give God the chance to change your heart. By seeking God you start to understand God… for this is the path to wisdom. To learn of God is to want to be closer to God… to have a relationship. To have a relationship with God is to obey God… and God tells us to go tell the world the good news, this is the great commission left to all those people that love God.

Over the many centuries of man… man has had it so wrong. To do things to others for the sake of his own way, disregarding the rules of love to accomplish this… is to know it was for selfish reasons and not oriented from love. This is how man, in his arrogance… from pride, acts when he would use God for personal gain- at the loss of what another man has. Can you not see the forest for the trees… or the water for the ocean? I say this from my own brokenness God has dealt with in my life… the love I hold in my heart is His, for it is only by His love I came out from the destruction man laid at my own feet.

(This was added as a last thought of which to add… 6:50 AM, June 15th, 2011) Please keep one thing close to your heart if nothing more, the fact that if anyone would cause you to hurt… pray for them. It is completely, if not nigh impossible, impractical to think ill of someone if you are in turn praying for them. By doing this we allow God to work through them that they might hear Him knocking on the door of their heart. Since it comes to mind… the desire to seek God… or be aware of God’s presence, it is the chance we shall keep our hope in, that our prayers might be found worthy of God’s love for our fellow man, even the ones who might have caused us harm. Sometimes it is merely a perception, our own perception that something was done to harm us, and other times a severe reality. I have had my own… severe realities… issues I’ve prayed on and known the loving hands of God to take away the sting of another’s hand against me. Have you a burden, pray on it and leave it at the altar of God… He will deal with it, remove it from your heart and deal directly with those who may have done it.

With that said… I’d ask you to read the scriptures and compare what I have said to the words of God, through His messenger Paul. I am no better than Paul but we are the same in this regard… I too am a convict of my own convictions. You can find the scripture I would share with you here and shall see it below this.

Yet once again… I would ask that you pray before you read the Scriptures below, pray for understanding.

Scripture:

Colossians 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, 2 To the holy and faithfula brothers in Christ at Colosse: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.b
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel 6 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth. 7 You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on ourc behalf, 8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit. 9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified youd to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption,e the forgiveness of sins.
The Supremacy of Christ
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because off your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Paul’s Labor for the Church
24 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. 25 I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— 26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. 29 To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Last thoughts: my own…

This is being given to you by the Spirit in me, the Holy Spirit (The Great Spirit) for if it was up to me I would care for only myself… as most of you do… for this is the view of man that has not God. It is to transcend this view… our views of man when we know God personally, to have a relationship sustained on love of life, to be able to share of this same vital force… the love God holds for all of us.
