Members of this group are gelatinous in texture and appearance. Usually found on wood and have a very high water content.
Examples; Auricularia sp, Calocera sp. ,Pseudohydnum sp. , Tremella sp, Golden Jelly bells , etc. They feel like jelly, very slimy and wet and can be found in very damp and wet forests. Mostly on dead wood.
