The Challenge
Please enter an image with One or more puffball fungi.
Info; Puffballs grow in grassland and forests. Some species grow single, others occur in dense clusters. When young most species are covered with a layer of soft warts or spines that fall of as the puffball matures. Spores are discharged through an apical pore when pressure is applied to the outer membrane.
