Art MUST be Movie Themed! Television themes are acceptable, as well. We also love seeing your favorite performers!
Movie inspiration must be listed in title or description! There will be a few exceptions, if the film reference is extremely obvious. (If someone who hasn’t seen the reference material can recognize the reference, that’s obvious. If it has to be Googled, that’s not obvious.) When submitting a depiction of a performer, please give their full name (or full stage name) and at least one thing they’ve acted in, directed, etc.
Art MUST be a reference to any particular movie or show. Please do not submit images that looks like they could have been from a movie in general. Imaginary movie posters are acceptable and highly encouraged because they are so much fun! Again, just make sure you tell us what inspired the poster. :)
Please, NO video games! We are about movies and film.
There’s a limit of 2 uploads per member per day. Please keep that in mind for your submissions.
We suggest you being careful with copyright violation matters. We suggest fan art, images showing famous people, recreated posters. Movie stills and all the copyright sensitive stuff should NOT be available for sale, but for exhibition purposes only. However the hosts of this groups won’t judge your works on that matter, except astonishing cases. Every artist is responsible for their own work.
T-shirts will be moderated VERY carefully. If it becomes a problem again, we will stop accepting them again.
We accept journal postings that are related to the group. Acceptable topics include a film or show you saw and loved; general information for members, etc. Please do not submit a journal or writing concerning a work you have not submitted to this group.
We intend to keep the art quality of this group high, so please submit your 100% works only. If your image is rejected please don’t be offended because you are always welcome to try more; everyone’s invited and everyone’s wanted in Movie Art!
