Miniature Art has a long history dating back many centuries and over the past couple of decades, this unque art form has seen a revival of interest. This group is for miniature artworks, in any medium, that would be eligible for entry in a Miniature Art Society Exhibition. The work should be fine art, highly detailed and be able to stand up to magnification. Photographs of 3D miniatures, such as sculptures, are acceptable. ACEO’s, in general are not acceptable, unless they could be classified as fine art. Size regulations are as per your local Miniature Art Society, as these differ from country to country. Within Australia, the size should be less than 100sq cm or 10cm x 10cm, within the US, the size regulation is less than 25sq inches and must follow the 1/6th rule. We will not regulate whether the artwork follows the size restrictions, but will trust that artists are submitting miniature art only. Please include the size of your artwork and the mediums used within your description. If you know of any artists who work in Miniature, please invite them to join us and to share their artworks with us.
