Lee Anderson brought his horse, Dusty, cowboy gear and outfits to the Empire Ranch Open House in Sonoita, Arizona, to tell the history of the American cowboy circa 1880-1920. As romanticized in numerous motion pictures, cowboys always seem to be larger than life. The truth about their life and times, however, is far different from the movie myth.
