Moscongus Bay in Round Pond Maine….We went out to dinner at a local restaurant and were snapping family pictures inside…the waitress said….”the real picture to take is outside.!”...Boy was she right!
Owl’s Head Lighthouse is in the midcoast region of Maine….These long steps lead to the base of the lighthouse providing a spectacular view of the ocean and the island of Vinalhaven, an island town in Penobscot Bay, 15 miles from Rockland, Maine…BTW the lighthouse is in the town of Owl’s Head
With my Casco Bay, Maine Island cruise/mail-run under way. I was fortunate to have Portland’s Head Light off the horizon.At her port of call. Super Ice ship, “Gotland Carolina”, displaying a well traveled and rustic appearance. Shame though, no one ever invented a ‘ship-wash’ and a “lil’ dab will do ya” of Ziebart, for rust prevention.
