A photo taken whilst I was in Darwin of the underneath of a conveyor belt down near the wharf area. The wharf you see it attached to in the map is in the process of being dismantled. What drew me to it was the repetition of all the supports for the conveyor.

Darwin Centre Phase II by Spencer Copping

The new Darwin Centre’s giant cocoon structure is built to house 20 millions specimens. The cocoon is encased in a glass box and the reflective properties of the glass prevent the cocoon from being seen fully from the outside. The Lines group is about photography and any form of art showing only STRONG, PREDOMINANT, preferrably straight lines. Can be untouched photography, abstract, lines from nature, shadows, computer generated, etc…

Images only showing Lines
Close up images
Ideally we shouldn’t know what the lines belong to, as we’re not interested in anything else in this group but Lines :)

Challenges

You can’t win challenges and therefore be featured in the Just Lines group if you enter images that have not been submitted and/or accepted in the Just Lines group.

In the event that an image which is not in the group for either of the reasons above wins a challenge, the winner will be the next winning image meeting the above criteria.
