Put your thinking caps on …. what have I shot here? It might look like the world’s biggest bar code, but it ain’t! Let’s have some theories from all you sleuths out there …. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F11, 1/500 sec, ISO 200, focal length 125mm.
A photo taken whilst I was in Darwin of the underneath of a conveyor belt down near the wharf area. The wharf you see it attached to in the map is in the process of being dismantled. What drew me to it was the repetition of all the supports for the conveyor.

The new Darwin Centre’s giant cocoon structure is built to house 20 millions specimens. The cocoon is encased in a glass box and the reflective properties of the glass prevent the cocoon from being seen fully from the outside. Its scale and shape can be glimpsed at the top when visitors start their tour stepping out of the glass lift on the 7th floor. Simply Stunning. By C F Moller Architects Sony a350

The Lines group is about photography and any form of art showing only STRONG, PREDOMINANT, preferrably straight lines. Can be untouched photography, abstract, lines from nature, shadows, computer generated, etc…
Please note that:
This group only accepts:
Images only showing Lines
Close up images
Ideally we shouldn’t know what the lines belong to, as we’re not interested in anything else in this group but Lines :)
Challenges
You can’t win challenges and therefore be featured in the Just Lines group if you enter images that have not been submitted and/or accepted in the Just Lines group.
In the event that an image which is not in the group for either of the reasons above wins a challenge, the winner will be the next winning image meeting the above criteria.
If your image fits in any of the following groups, your image may be rejected from this group
