A pretty stormy evening in Clevedon, UK so I fancied capturing some timed exposures and hoped to not get too wet. This time I had my tripod, I hope you like it. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 24mm, f/11, .6 sec, ISO 50100. ND 9 filter used. Photomatix conversion (first time I used it) and dust and scratches removed in photoshop, chromatic abs removed by magic brush. This shot is also available from a photobook collection called Coastal Mementos by redtree.me © Copyright 2009 David Reid – redtree.me – All rights reserved.
Canon G5 / ISO 50 / f/8; 1/500 / Flash Sunpak in Full Power (Surabaya, Indonesia – 2009)
This composite was made specialy for a the “chaos” challenge last year.I just let myself go and tried something different from what I use to do.I had a old picture from my trip in France when I went skiing in the Alps. The black stain at the left is,in fact,a restaurant at the “Trois Vallées” resort and you also can see the skier’s traces on the snow…. :)) I did a double layer with a shot of the moon taken with my Panasonic FZ-20…some coloring “et voilà”.....just for fun….

These series of tulip et al shots were taken in October ‘09 during the Floriade Festival in Canberra, Australia. It is an annual springtime event gardeners and nature-lovers of all sorts look forward to. It mainly features a wide variety of Tulip species, marquees from exhibitors of gardening products, garden decorations, flower arrangements, flower shops and other stuff like organic products, organic food, hats, brick-a-brack, jewellery and most things you’d expect to find at the markets for spring. This is a close-up of the “Friendship” shot. I just though it deserved it.

These paper lanterns were strung along paths in the garden for the night activities. I think it’s great they chose colourful one’s so people can enjoy them even during the day, and against the spring-green leaves, they looked so lovely.

The surf was really kicking up at Coquina Beach on Anna Maria Island , Florida. I love all the shells that wash up near the rocks.
