OUCH, yes you stepped on my toe Ang….. Well firstly I have had numerous challenges, but with very little response or submissions. And I mean very little like one person submitted to the last challenge. ONE!!

Secondly, you should really look a little further on the front page of the LB group, as it has been changed and does so regularly.

I am hoping that I’m not stepping on any toes here but I would really love to see more from this group. It seems like just a place to post your work and not a group that engages the Lensbaby user?

Contests? tutorials? Maybe even updating the featured photos?

I know many people offer critiques but none offer solutions, so if you need help, I am willing to put some time into making this a group a bit more like the other successful groups on RB. :)

I find it a bit funny why you would have camera movement AND the lensbaby, kind defeats the purpose of the Lensbaby.
But I understand… I really would like to keep all entries with the creative aspect of THE LENS itself if you can understand. There are MANY groups on here which accommodate for creative photography in that category, not against that at all.

I understand what you are talking about. But I’m not sure you are going to be able to discern impressionist photos taken with a Lensebaby. I have many images taken with my Lensbaby which I now have had for a couple of years. Some of which I have used camera movement with also.

Basically the BENDY is the same thing as the ORIGINAL lensbaby, so I guess that would be ok. I am getting a lot of people sending in blurred photos and depth of field photos take with normal lenses, so it is right out of the category really.

just curious –
what about the home made bendy type lens ?
simular effect as the lensbaby, but not true one.

i’m about to get a “bendy” and don’t want to add the pics here if they’ll break the rules.

Hi all you Lensbaby people. I have had a HUGE influx of membership and photos that are NOT LensBaby photos.

I just want to remind all you guys that I only accept photos that are taken with ANY of the LENSBABIES, if they are not then they will be rejected.

If you are entering the competition, then I suggest that you contact the guy that is running it and tell him that you don’t have to join the group to enter.

ALL membership from now on has to be approved. It has been a nightmare to say the least.
