I dropped the limit to 1 after nearly a week since the group message post after it got 4 views just to see if there was any life left in the group and what reaction (if any) i’d get.

After a lack of interests in challenges and a drop in interest / new artworks I felt that after so long doing it it needed some fresh ideas. I’m not around as much as I used to be but willing to take a back seat and still help host.

i’ll add you as a host and see if Felicity has felt she’s done enough and we’ll go from there. Feel free to change the moderation and limit sets too

I can’t help but feel it would have more input if it were not restricted to 1 image only as I have just seen.

I will take it with someone else subject to negotiations of workload and rules as I have plenty of my own but I would hate to see this group disappear as there is so much of Kent to offer and some great artists in this group.

There’s my card on the table.

After over two and a half years at the helm, Felicity and I have decided that now’s the time for the group to have some fresh input and are looking at standing down. If anyone wishes to take over as group host then please post a message below or b-mail me.

i’d like to thank Felicity for all the help and assistance over the years and also to all of you for making this group what it is and showcasing the wonderful county of Kent.

Closing date is early March. With the standard of work in this group, we should be able to give them some competition:)

Hello everyone

It’s lovely to see the group growing in size with so many active and friendly participants.

When the group was originally set up, it was to try and pool local people together to showcase nearby locations and to inspire us all. It’s so rewarding to see you all being part of that for which we thank you.

As some of you have seen, we have opened a new challenge for a quarterly avatar and it’s great to see so many entrants already.

Looking ahead to 2010, it would be great if we could organise a few meet ups. I know some people have already meet up with each other and having met up with other Redbubblers before myself, know how good a time it is to spend it with like minded people.

If anyone has any great ideas for locations feel free to comment away.

Have a great Christmas one and all and all the best for 2010.

Okay – I have no idea what happened here.

As far as I was aware i’d set this challenge to be open for a couple of weeks to allow members to capyure shots of Kent in Autumn.

I then log on this morning to find that the challenge is “finished”.

More likely user error than the computer. I shall try again.

Im in agreement with Anna, Local information and events are always handy to know of.
More challenges would be fab, Maybe ones especially suited to certain categories? e.g beginners and advanced? People can choose themselves which to enter, I know I dont have a chance when up against the likes of you and Kerry haha xx

Hi Stuart,

I think the group works well, largely thanks to the effort you put in and the unstinting support you give to us all.

I would love some more challenges, and would love to hear from others about locations, and also events locally that would make for good photo opportunities. Exhibitions, meetings and anything else that would encourage us to get out there and start snapping!!
