Please keep editting to a minimum – we would rather see how clever you are with in-camera settings like selected f-stop, light metering and ISO, to achieve a shadowy result, than what can be done with fancy post-ed buttons sliders and added effects
Accepted
♦ Image must have at least 70% SHADOW to be considered for acceptance to the group
♦ black and white photography only – 2 submissions per 24 hours
♦ HDR is ok, as long as the image remains photo-realistic
♦ Submitted image/s must have obvious strong element/s of SHADOW

Not accepted
♦ no colour whatsoever, inclusive of sepia, selective colour, colour toning, split-toning or in-camera colour-tone settings, coloured signatures
♦ no nudes or nudity whatsoever, no images that require a safe filter
♦ no added borders, diptychs/triptychs or image composites/montages/collages, no digitally added text/typography – please keep signatures discreet! Signatures must not be the first thing your hosts notice!
♦ no ‘happy-snaps’, or poorly focussed/exposed/composed images … please do not share/submit just anything to this group that comes in front of your lens. Ask yourself if your picture is ethically and aesthetically justified to share with the world.
♦ no images of dead animals or animal cruelty
All images are accepted or declined at the sole discretion of the Hosts.
Please, do not re-submit rejected works – non-acceptance of your work is so not personal, we just felt it didn’t fit within the group
