and every thought eases effortlessly
out of pink clouds with silver shivers
of ecstatic joy in the free creativity
of wild, holy beauty;
his eyes glistened with emotion, and he embraced me, crying out my name to the birds, to angels…
to the wind.
I come up strongly, and break the surface
with power, lifting my chest high
out of the sea. I feel no need of air
There is a dance. Its movement is the wheeling stars,
the thrash of trees in a gale, the weave of swallows,
the surge of rivers and tides of the sea,
the silver flash of a fish,
Sometimes, though the hidden night sky
is white with stars,
still dark descends inside our bones,
like ink seeps into white linen,
It is a rainy morning, pre-dawn as usual with these bothered nights, where the heavy jacket is out and I dart from getting water to drink to keyboard and over to watch the charger and my dying camera…
Teach me how to move
beyond the shadows of the West
to that place, as innocent as a cow’s teat,
as warm milk squirting,
Ah, but here I am, sitting with a pocket full of nothing…
wishing beauty upon you,
wishing I had the power of a god to fly and bless
instead of just this little fistful of words
Words that were golden coins
spilled into the heart-pockets
of the poor
are relegated to dust bins
In the spring
the blue birds sing
and the rich red robins
bip and bop,
and hip and hop
Today there is a silent working to ripen the tomatoes,
a silent working to bloom the flowers,
a silent working amongst the butterflies and bees.
I am learning that there is an entirely new biology that starts to transform us — body and mind. It is the biology of bliss… of freedom, of the ultimate joy.
He walked carefully, not as one who was timid,
but as one who knew the value of the place
and did not wish to disturb its natural
harmony with even one unconscious breath.
Hers is the laugh of a child…
yet a wild horse runs through her laugh,
its hooves beating up sparks from the stones…
It was that moment when I lost…I found you…
I was a big gainer…
It was another moment..when I found a path into me…
You were walking along…
It was still another moment ̷…
Dont try to tell me I know whats best for me
I dont need your vision of how its meant to be
My road is far and wide and deeper than the sea
And I sail the ocean that sets my spirit free
