As the Sun drops near the horizon the dunes turn from gray to gold. The temperature on the sand becomes more pleasent but swarms of mosquitos begin to rise from the reed marshes fringing the lake. It is on Castle Rock Road off Hwy 20 just north of Mountain Home, Idaho. There are many rock formations on this dirt road, and it is amazing what nature does, and how they look like different things. It is also a great place to do portraiture photography.
