SPECIAL NOTE The name Heart and Soul does NOT stand for hearts or soulful images that warm your spirit. This is a writer’s group and it is meant for WRITERS who put their heart and soul into their writings. We accept images that HAVE WRITINGS with them, not cute babies or hearts just because they tug at the soul. That is not what this group was created for.
Any images that do NOT have writings will NOT be accepted here despite the subject.

" Please keep in mind, this is NOT an image group, although we do accept images, they MUST have writing with them (either a poem, a story or part of one, or the poem on the art). And you may also write about what the art means to you, or explain how it was created. No holiday cards or birthday cards!!! Processing details in list form about how you created your work is not considered to be writing. This group is not just for the pro writer. Beginning writers are encouraged to join as well. This writing group is for people who write ANY style THEY see fit. It is for the emotional writer,… the one who writes free thinking style, first draft, off the cuff, off the top of the head, free flowing, with out thought.

The goal of their writings are not to be perfect but to be felt and seen! The writings MUST create an image as the reader reads….. like watching a movie in your head. Please watch spelling. ( Or do the best you can.) Although we may not follow editing rules we MUST at least try to have good spelling and clear thoughts. This is a group of sharing free thought it isn’t a group to learn to write or get published. Writing with the heart and from the soul is our goal, no matter what the subject may be.
