He used to tell us, When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth. Peter Washington is a highly trained Pittsburgh Police Officer, a member of a Philadelphia SWAT unit. Tall and muscular he is the smartest and most disciplined in the group, with survival skills that make the entire unit of survivors a functional group. A group comprised by one more Philadelphia SWAT member, a traffic reporter with helicopter flying skills and his television-executive girlfriend. They all seek refuge in a shopping mall after a growing epidemic of zombies that have risen from the dead. This is a group for art inspired by the so called Grindhouses, the theaters that mainly showed exploitation films and its sub genres, such as blaxploitation, sexploitation, zombie films, biker films, shockumentaries, splatter, spaghetti westerns, giallos, kung fu/ninja films, nazisploitation etc.
This group tends to be RB’s 42nd Street, a kind of a modern times’ Sleazoid Express, in a nostalgic attempt to bring back the Grindhouse heyday.
