Group Rules:

Here are some links you can read over to help you to better understand what “descriptive writing” really is:
The Writing Site
Writing Well at Info Please

There needs to be plenty of adjectives, at least 3 of the available 6 senses (ESP is included) must be described, colours are a plus, and a title is necessary, since I am a title Nazi. If you can’t think of a title, ask me, I love naming things. Obviously the idea of a “descriptive writing” is a bit subjective based on the audience, but between the three of us, I’m sure we will be able to answer any questions you may have.

There is no limit on the number of works one can enter, but all entries will be reviewed thoroughly and the final decision will ultimately be up to the hosts. If you feel that your work was rejected wrongfully, send myself, Nicole, or Holly a bubblemail, we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can, just be patient, and be nice! No haters allowed.

Anything I’m missing?

Oh, journals will be accepted as well, granted they follow the rules stated above. Any critiques are perfect (and if this is the case, the image being critiqued may be submitted to the group, granted the artist submits it, but we’ll worry about this as the group gets a bit larger)

PLEASE do not submit 20 things at once…it takes time to read and absorb all of the amazing things you people write. Let’s shoot for one or two works a day. If we see someone submitting more than this, we will send you a bubblemail asking you to slow down, take a breath, and wait a day. 24 hours really isn’t that hard :)

If you have any other suggestions, please let us know! We’re open to anything and we are extremely approachable people (just watch out for my sense of humour, it’s a tad sarcastic…)
