. / .. / ... StatusQuopdating: The act of as if updating something but actually do nothing in particular. The common act in the first decade of the 21st century. Will we keep on doing it in the second decade. That, my friend, is the Trillion dollars question. ... / .. / .
5 police officers on “the beat” looking suspiciously like the characters of Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Reservoir Dogs’ – Hence, RESERVOIR PIGS.
I heard a strange bit of news today. Allegedly a large amount of gold bars that were made in the US are not solid gold. They were made with tungsten, a metal with similar weight, and then coated with an eighth of an inch of actual gold. It is not known where they are circulating.
I do have a thing for old jukebox clubs that drips with sweat and heartbreak….one of my many weird things.

This photo was taken on the streets of Oran, Algeria. These were sisters sent to the market for their mother. The little one wanted her photo taken (Algerians are crazy about photos) but the older one was a little apprehensive, as you can see in the photo. So the little one hung her arms around the older sister and said – “it’s ok, shoot us”. :) As an American I found it fascinating that Algerians go to the market daily to buy their food for the day. Their food is incredible, by the way, a combination of French, Spanish, Middle East, and African influence. Using fresh ingredients makes it all the more delicious.
Oran, Algeria Oran is a very old city, influenced by such a variety of cultures it makes it truly unique. I spent a large amount of my time there simply walking around taking it all in, and of course snapping photos. I loved the feeling I got as I walked through the alley ways and streets. The people there are so hospitable and kind, and their lives are simple but rich with love. This is a simple alleyway, with people doing their daily activities. Nothing special to them, but a gem to me.
If they paint internal-combustion autos green, and dangle them in front of our eyes, are they earth-friendly?

Just a colorful T-design based on Pantone color swatches, TV test cards, abstract art & performance graphs -with a subtle bit of politics thrown in: “Color Bar” was the policy introduced by the Victorian British in India, banning native Inidans from entering British clubs. Ultimately their snobbery & racism only tarnished the “Jewel in the Crown”, and sped up the fall of the British Raj in India. :http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php
