About This Group

We are not a group for photos of National Parks or State Parks, coastal walks or sunrise and sunsets etc – we are after well kept gardens and city parks only, which means we don’t accept bush scenes, or anything that was not taken in a garden or a city park.

We’d like to capture the excitement and colour of the world of gardens, parks, flowering trees and shrubs. The topics are endless and fascinating, and it opens up a myriad of great photo opportunities for people who enjoy the world of landscaped gardens & parks.

We accept all types of landscaped garden scenes from the very formal to public parks, to the well-kept, back or front yard of your own home, as long as the main subject of your photo is on the garden or the landscaping, or the flowering trees and shrubs etc.

Photos can include the overall garden design, a scene in a park showing off the garden etc, landscaping, flowering trees and shrubs in a park or garden setting and we’ll even accept fountains taken in a park or garden, and landscaped craft towns etc. We’ll even accept nicely landscaped suburban or country street scenes or footpaths. Of course, we accept garden scenes from the different seasons – spring, summer, winter and autumn/fall. Send in your photos of gardens taken in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, America, Canada, Europe and Asia.

We only accept colour photos thanks, with the colours remaining natural.
