The judges for Gaia are a mix of RedBubble members and those who are new to the site. Each of them has an interest in Gaia and expertise in images or writing. They come from all over the RedBubble earth. They each marked a large shortlist of works independently against the stated criteria of quality and how well the work illuminated the theme of “Gaia”. The results were then tallied. Rose Moxon is a 3D CG artist specialising in fantasy art. Her art has been published worldwide and she exhibits in both local and international galleries. She has enjoyed being an active member of the Red Bubble community for nearly a year where she has met and collaborated with some of the worlds finest photographers. Faizan Qureshi is an enterprising artist with vested interests in the digital media and cinema; and the CEO of popular e-zine, BollySpice.com. He is currently preparing to embark on a journey to establish himself in the world of graphic designs. Johan Joubert is a professional photographer and co-owner of a production company and model agency. Marilyn Brown is a practicing artist who has participated in many exhibitions and has art in private collections both in Australia and overseas. She is an established community member of redbubble and hosts three groups based on the traditional fine arts. Diana Calvario is a webmaster with a major interest in digital art and spirituality. As an active member of Redbubble, her art is said to be imaginative, creative, speculative and real, having a strong connection to nature and to the integral philosophy. Kate Rigby Kate Rigby is a professor in literary studies with a particular interest in culture and sustainability. She is a passionate crusader in the cause of the living earth and writes ecopoetry in occasional moments of inspiration. She is not (yet) a member of RedBubble. Annie Condon: Annie Condon is a Melbourne-based fiction writer and reviewer. She was a winner in the inaugural redbubble short story competition and had her story published in the Unleashed anthology. Annie is not currently active in the redbubble community as she is directing all her efforts towards writing her novel. Kate Wingerson Kate Wingerson is an information professional, editor and writer with a long-standing interest in environmental issues and public policy. Growing up in a rural southeastern US community, her environmentalism was born in the field behind her house. Hop Dac is a painter, writer and occasional editor. |

It made so much the difference this time around. Sorry RB if it sounds like I was a sore stickler for ITM. But, well, ITM was really a test run wasn’t it? This time… The gold has hit the shebang and it’s beaming sunshine. In other words. The results are spot on in my books. Top stuff and great work with the judging. |
