This is an awesome chocolate horse I see in a beautiful pasture out on a back road in Amherst, Virginia. I have no idea what breed he is…but he always comes up to the fence to see me. I must have said something really funny to him this time! He seems to have had a good laugh over it. :)) / Taken with my Canon Powershot SX110 IS PLEASE VIEW LARGE FEATURED IN PLAYFUL PHOTOGENIC ANIMALS / FEATURED IN EYE CONTACT / FEATURED IN FUNNY KRITTERS / /
I was just having some ‘ME’ time again and playing around in Photoshop Elements 7 So, there I was the other day having a walk up at the Forty Hall Estate which is in Enfield, England and I came face to face with a budding squirrel paparazzi photographer. I did laugh because he looked as though he was straight out of the Nikon College for paparazzi beginners. He took a few quick shots of me before realising I was nobody special and of no particular importance before rushing off to shoot a couple who looked a little like Brad Squid and Angelina Pony. Well his loss eh? LOL I hope you like the photo and thank you so much for viewing my work, please call back again soon. This bees is so busy today. Sticking his nose deep into the lavender flower. To get to the pollen. Image taken in my front yard. Ten years ago two entomologists submitted an application to Environment Australia to introduce the European Bumble Bee, to the Australian mainland. They argued they will increase productivity in greenhouses by a quarter, reduce pesticide use and make a good back stop in case native bees are wiped out by varroa mite. Now, after years of study, public consultation and a long political process, our Minister for the Environment has knocked it back. He has looked at the import risk assessment for the bees and what happened in Tasmania where they were illegally introduced. He says introducing the Bumble Bee to the mainland is a bad idea and could open Australia up to more disease and weed threats. / I found this very interesting. People like to change things and think it will do good but iss it really good to introduce other species and change the life circle in an area?? /
AS IS :This little guy is the edible frog, up 12cm long, relatively uncommon in this part of Spain he jumped in front of me today, as I was walking into our spring,at the bottom of our garden, feeding into the Albaida River, Xativa. He then decided to pop his head up and see what was going on. Tried for a close up but the dogs an kittens arrived ! Stepping into this water is like going into a magical garden, it is a hive of activity but soothing and peaceful, full of magical creatures. Fugifilm Finepix S1000 fd / f/5 Expo 1/240 ISO-400

Baby ring tail Racoon….alone, no mother or siblings in sight - sat along the road side as I drove by. Had to stop, get a shot or two….he looked so frightened. Funny thing…after I spoke in soft tones to him….he slowly turned and went into the woods, stopping once or twice to look back at me.

Got a FUNNY animal shot? Then this is your group. Let us laugh with you. It may be a shot that wasn’t quite what you expected when you pushed the shutter button or maybe you just didn’t get the angle just right and it just makes people laugh, well then WE want it.
No animal compositions please. You may submit those to Animal Fantasy Composites
Make us laugh!!
Please add only two shots per day, thanks.
