Another in my series World from Above that l captured over the north of Spain on a commercial flight from Munich to Tenerife. It is always worth keeping an eye on the landscape below when flying, and keeping the camera primed and at hand. Watch out for fascinating formations of fields, forests, lakes, hills and valleys whether formed by Nature or by Man. Location: approx. 11,000 metres above Spain / Nikon D200, Sigma 18-200mm. / Post-pro in CS2 – level and contrast; grey grad filter by Nik ColorEfex. No overall digital manipulation. Looking up at my parachute holding me and my fragile powered parachute aircraft in the air. Multi-colored fabric and brilliant blue sky.

Holy Fire this was a heated moment from inside our balloon….the view from the baloon was awesome looking down but still as awesome looking up….. / Egypt Valley of the kings…still loads more to keep posting I am filtering them through!
Another of my Balloon captures…This was taken from our hot air balloon over The Valley Of The Kings at 5am on one of my birthdays. / In this capture there are three more balloons already in flight all at different levels like the three muskateers. Our balloon was still ascending enabling me to capture these. / Reminds me of New year…Everything seems out of reach but if we focus on direction and aim to have a goal we will get there in the end…....Life does not come with a map but we still need direction…. / Happy New Year To You all / Angel 2010 up up and away….....
Taking a flight from Zimbabwe across to Zambia to see the Victoria Falls we passed over this village in Zambia, not far from Livingstone.
This photo was taken just before we passed over the falls so we were able to see the spray but not the falls themselves.
Mount Nebo in Central Utah reflects its light from the under side of the C-172 wing.
Many thanks to From The Cockpit for the feature of my photo “Over Europe”. That’s my 2nd feature now with this great group. I really appreciate your faith in my work and it’s great to be honoured in this way, especially when all the other featured photos in your group are of such a very high standard. Thank you. / Cheers, / Graham
