Open to the public from Easter to November. Erected in the second half of the sixteenth century by the brothers William and Louis Vertemate Franks, is the only building of property that was saved by the landslide of 1618 that flooded the country with many of its inhabitants. The building is a beautiful Renaissance masterpiece set in a charming environment. The facade is simple and essential, surrounded by airy and functional spaces like the garden. Then there are the orchards, vineyards, chestnut and a series of rustic buildings essential to the conduct of agricultural activities that were held in the estate. Inside walls and vaulted ceilings are richly frescoed, inlaid ceilings are certainly the marvels of the palace. Unlukely we didn’t allow take shots inside
