Big thanks to everyone who contributed their time for folding paper cranes, spread the words to wider community and supported the project.
The exhibition, FOLD WITH LOVE at Sydney Children’s hospital in Randwick was closed on Sun 4th December 2011. We had many positive comments about it.
We believe that there are something special about the paper cranes. Display of over 3,000 colourful paper cranes had sent beautiful message to the visitors

This group is for the artworks with paper cranes and origami.

Works must include a paper crane in it. Paintings, photographes, digetal images, t-shirt designs and writings are all welcome.
Must be suitable for an exhibition in the general public space.

“Fold with Love – 1000 Paper Cranes” art exhibition

“Fold with Love – 1000 paper cranes” is a project based on the Japanese legend of 1000 paper cranes. A team of Sydney-based Japanese artists, Mayu Kataoka and Midori Furze are collecting one thousand paper cranes from one thousand people to do an installation work on the hospital walls at Sydney Children’s Hospital.
The project is this year’s Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation art program, in partnership with the Sydney Children’s Hospital School.

We are collecting 1000paper cranes for an Installation work for the children at the hospital.
Post your paper cranes by August 31
