Two of the Sister Purpletoes Girls spinning fire in Traffic Camp at the Oregon Country Fair. The one on the left is using poi, the one on right is using six-flame fans. Shot with a Canon Digital Rebel at f8, guesstimated bulb exposure. Minimally processed in The GIMP (set black point during RAW conversion, some cropping, clone out major noise blobs). I did blur the audience a bit, since I don’t have releases.
Taken on my bulb setting on my Nikon D60, Lens 18-55. Made sparklers much more fun! / I learn’t this trick on a basic digital camera course that I did in my spare time. / As is. / Featured in the group ‘Fire Poi’ and ‘The love of eerie and enchanting artwork’
