I’ve been hoping to spot a dahlia on my jaunts so I could give it a whirl with the macro. Turns out, a nice elderly couple across from my home have a plant or two; they graciously allowed me into their garden so I could play. Note Most of my macro shots have been taken with a Fuji FinePix A500. This one was shot with my Kodak Easyshare of Doom, which has a broken viewfinder. I played this one by eyeball, and other than cropping out one corner background blur, this is as she is. Featured in the group Gorgeous Flower Cards.
