Put your faith in a tank of air for a while and you will find yourself introduced to the most beautiful creatures on this earth. Whales, Sharks, Tropical creatures; each animal being equally curious about these creatures that seem to have strayed into their territory, bubbles streaming from the mouth. Humans were not designed to travel beneath the oceans but perhaps there is a turtle somewhere looking to embrace you with it’s incredible beauty as it moves slowly beneath the surface. / Photographed in The Great Barrier Reef near Port Douglas / Photographed using a Canon G10 in a Canon Underwater Housing with an Ikelite Strobe Featured in “Far North Queensland” group

When diving on the Great Barrier Reef (near Cairns in FNQ) I saw this red soldier fish sitting in a dark little cave and decided to take a photo. When I hit it with the flash the wonderful bright red colours came up, as well as some other lovely red plants and other creatures growing on the walls around it. I quite like the red colour. Let me know what you think.

I just wanted to say a big Congrats to my other half David for his sales. Here is how we did it…..David brought 1 of his Game Fishing on board Cool Runnings Calendar, we then hit the businesses here in Cairns that we felt would be interested in purchasing the calendar we have now sold 100 of them, and orders are still coming through, and we are now getting sales from Sydney and America as well, word of mouth is the best selling tool…..Now we just need to get RB ready for the printing of them lol It just goes to show that a good product will sell, and thanks to RB for a very professional calendar, we were very impressed with the quality of the calendar and with the printing, they do look amazing. Well done David, it was worth you bobbing up and down and going round and round for these great shots from the Marlin season in Cairns. So very proud….....
