This is my second cousin Ashley. She’s very soft and quiet. My Opposite. Maybe that’s just because she’s not used to me yet. I always get the feeling that she’s thinking overtime.
I love this picture of my two babies outside an old barn, if only you knew what they were doing to each other before I caught this moment – pinching, poking and whining!! I gave it a bit of a moody look in Lightroom as I thought they looked like little orphan children! Taken with a Canon EOS 450D / Shutter 1/60 / Aperture F5.6 / ISO 200 / Focal length 28mm FEATURED Nov 2009: Family Unlimited / FEATURED Nov 2009: The Woman Photographer / FEATURED Nov 2009: Children – The Power of Raw Emotion
This is my daughter Brooke playing dress up. She wore this snow white dress for like a week. I know this isn’t one of my best but I just absolutely love that smile of hers…such a princess.

My daughter, who was 4 when this was taken, is checking out the marching band at a high school football game.
This is Hudson (4) and Belle (who is not so tiny any more.) Hudson keeps doing these little doodles and drawings and bringing them to me and asking me to “put them in the computer”. While I love him to bits and think his creativity is great, I do kind of get tired of scanning endless abstract squiggles. So I thought I’d combine one of his artworks with one of mine, to make it more interesting for me… ( : So this is a portrait of the artist and his art.
November is the month in which we celebrate Thanksgiving Day. It is a day set aside to remember all of the things in our lives for which we are thankful; this includes family, friends, as well as material blessings such as food, clothing and shelter. HaPPy ThanKsGiVinG To All of You!!!

Last year I took my son to the wedding. When he heard the music play, he immediately started to dance (he LOVES dancing!). Later that evening he was dancing on the stage with a bride and a groom. It was hard to get him of it… / But, I guess, the guests got some free entertainment! :- ) / The song that was playing was : “Get Down Tonight” / (My apology for the quality of the picture, it was taken with just Canon PowerShot G9) /
My daughter asked me to take some photos of her today and I was delighted to have a model. As always, the best shots came when we were being silly but now my little girl doesn’t look so little.
My three kids sitting still, all smiling, and all looking at me yeeehaw!!!! This is a very rare. all in the name of a Christmas Card / ages 15, 17 and 11 years / Wenatchee, Washington / Canon 450D
My daughters first soccer game. She hated every minute and just stood on the field. Since her father was the coach he had to go to every game even though she refused to play! She looks so dejected in this photo almost like an adult’s body language.
