The Challenge

In this challenge we want to see an extreme close-up of a reptiles head.

Images must be in the Group before adding to the challenge

Reptiles can be any of the following:

Crocodilia (crocodiles, gavials, caimans, and alligators): 23 species

Sphenodontia (tuataras from New Zealand): 2 species

Squamata (lizards, snakes, and worm lizards): approximately 9,150 species1
Testudines (turtles, terrapins and tortoises): over 300 species

Additionally, birds are included in Reptilia under phylogenetic definitions.

Judging / Voting Criteria

Voting will be for what you consider the best image of a reptiles head.
Please, no touting for votes as it is unfair on others.
