Bought a new mask the other day, then I had an idea so I bought some other stuff to go with it, now if I can just find a babysitter, oh well the photo came out nice lol, enhanced with Fractalius Filter from Redfield
This is the center of a red geranium bud. I applied the Fractalius Filter to it and to me it has the appearance of a volcano with fire and heat erupting from it! Thanks for viewing and commenting!
Fractal rendition of a braai embers in Skukuza camp, Kruger National Park, South Africa. Braai loosely translated means barbecue in Afrikaans, a Dutch-derived language spoken in South Africa.
Took this close up of a photo of a begonia with a small bead of water. The photo was adjusted in PS witrh Redfield Fractalius filters. I also adjusted some of the individual channels.

Upper Antelope Canyon fractal. Doesn’t this look like hot lava is just about ready to burst towards you? This image was taken in Upper Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. This sandstone cavern is located on the Navajo Indian Reservation and is only accessible via four-wheel drive truck and with a Navajo guide. It is truly a remarkable site to visit. Knot your cherry and tie-one-on! Ahhh, now that’s refreshing!!! / Postprocessed in Photoshop CS3 using the Redfield plugin Fractalius /
This image originally started out as a photo I took of some a fall sky with clouds and a fat contrail. In photoshop I used the following: gradient map, texturizer, liquify, and fractalius and came up with this. / /
I took my globe photo and added a fractilius and then a flood filter, then I added a butterfly plugin and then ran yet another fractilius, I then added 2 particles to get this effect… Programs used were corel and photoshop cs2, I also changed the hue and saturation to red. / Hope you like it… / / The Red / They say freak, / When you’re singled out, / The red, well it filters through. The Mistress Historically, the term has denoted a kept woman, who was maintained in a comfortable (or even lavish) lifestyle by a wealthy man so that she will be available for his sexual pleasure. Such a woman could move between the roles of a mistress and a courtesan depending on her situation and environment. Today, however, the word mistress is used primarily to refer to the female lover of a man who is married to another woman; in the case of an unmarried man it is usual to speak of a “girlfriend” or “partner.” Historically a man “kept” a mistress. As the term implies, he was responsible for her debts and provided for her in much the same way as he did his wife, although not legally bound to do so. In more recent and emancipated times, it is more likely that the mistress has a job of her own, and is less, if at all, financially dependent on the man. A mistress is not a prostitute. While a mistress, if “kept”, may essentially be exchanging sex for money, the principal difference is that a mistress keeps herself exclusively reserved for one man, in much the same way as a wife, and there is not so much of a direct quid pro quo between the money and the sex act. There is also usually an emotional and possibly social relationship between a man and his mistress, whereas the relationship to a prostitute is predominantly sexual. The Fractalius Filter, by Redfield, was used to give the vintage effect. Original photo credit: Valarie Apperson/Talamantes
In March of this year, my husband Lynn and I had the great pleasure of meeting, sharing and being blessed by Lindsay Wagner (deeksha blessing), by participating in an experiential workshop, she calls “Quiet the Mind, Open the Heart”. In addition, I was further blessed by being invited to her home for a private session for several hours, where she re-awakened my knowledge of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and also known by several other names. She also reminded me how our past experiences, with our inner file cabinets, color our perceptions of the world and our reactions to it. Like a particular incident that causes pain that we refuse to allow to heal, and even though we are very intelligent, our familial and/or societal upbringing, beliefs and responses can program us to react in ways that rob our joy in daily life. She helped me to explore my prior programming and shift my perspective beyond it, “to experience life as it is in the moment.” / One of the most profound gifts she gave me were the words upon this image, a new daily practice of mine ~ while touching just above the heart in a circular motion, I say each of these phrases three times, especially when experiencing any stress, but most often a daily mantra. It has had such a healing effect on regaining some power within my life, I thought I would share it here. / Image is a sketch of scales balanced, photographed and edited in photoshop7 with fractilius filter and text. / My hope and intention is that those that will benefit from this simple tool, will utilize and share it to heal themselves and others. / / Feelings
FIREWORKS AND FRACTALIUS!! / Sitting in our front yard watching the free show from the University of Redlands, California.
This group is for the creative mind. Teresa and I discovered the Redfield plug-in called Fracatlius several months ago. Both of us have created many beautiful works with this fun filter and Photoshop. Just to update you, I tried adding the fractalius plug-in to Corel Paint Shop Pro X which I also have, and it works!! So, if you are using a photo editor that has a plug-in folder, give it a try, since not everyone uses Photoshop.
Please note: To help us know if you have used the filter very lightly on your image, add this information to the photo description and tag your image fractalius as well. This will save many bubblemails asking members if you have used the filter. If we can’t see the use of fractalius, the image will be rejected without notice.
Anyone can join this group. You can expect to see pages of artwork, each different in their own way depending on the creator of the work. We welcome all forms of art including floral, scenic, animals (your pets especially), just try it, you will love it!
