The Challenge

Understanding of female beauty differs as much throughout different ethnic groups as within our own culture during the centuries, or even among different subcultures of one entire culture.
Sometimes the exotic beauty, the way it is represented, can be quite shocking for the modern civilized world and at the same time many ethnic accessories, tattooes, piercing and other attributes are borrowed with gratefulness from the native tribes.
All the sacrifices and pains a beautiful woman has to endure can be quite striking – but that all is done for the sake of beauty and admiration!
We have established a challenge in an effort to explore how each ethnic group represents their own unique understanding of the concept of female beauty.
