I took this shot in a rush one morning, getting up and looking out of the window I saw the great sunrise, not having time to get out and set up anywhere too far away I quickly set up in a local field in St Lawrence – Essex which is about 2 minuets from my house. I just go this one shot before the light changed.

The tide goes out a very long way along the Thames Estuary. One of many sunrise shots taken on a recent trip to Cornwall. / The ‘Lizard’ is a peninsula South of the town of Helston, and Lizard Point is the most Southerly part of mainland Britain. / I was lucky to get the Gull in, as I think it adds to the capture. One of a few taken on a cold wet and windy afternoon, the depth of feild is not quite as i would have liked, taken with my Canon 100mm macro lens on a Canon 40d @ 1/125sec at f22 I Used two off camera flashes, levels adjusted in photoshop. ill be trying this again with a different lens to try and get a better depth of feild

Paying a visit to Wareham Quay; these sturdy little gaff rigged Cornish Shrimper sailing boats, designed along traditional lines, continue to be built in Cornwall since their introduction in 1980.
Not to long back I bought my self a Nikon D50 and running out to play with it once I got home I hit the nearest place to me. The Cliffs Pavilion gardens in southend, just along the sea front by my home. This scene captured me so I felt I had to return the favor.
