I’ve just selected the 12 featured images for November, as with all our features these artists show their skills in depicting or capturing light and using it to sculpt, mould, inform and highlight either shape, texture or form or all three.

Hi Nigel the best option is to Bubble mail the group hosts directly or provide a link to the image in question. I’ve Bubblemailed you asking for more information and I’ll happy explain why your image was rejected once I know which one it was. Sorry my reply was a little slow, but your post is in the wrong place so didn’t see it as a new post.

Could someone tell me why my image “Beautiful Sunset” was rejected from this group? The image was a full frontal nude model layered into the sunset sky. Was the image rejected due to the title without actually viewing it ?

A few people ask me is it difficult to choose the images for the Featured selection each month, well the answer is yes and no. No, it’s not easy as we have so many great images submitted over the course of a month. So to make the selection a little easier for me I always look for artists who know how to control light, be it natural or man-made. As artists we have the ability to mould, shape and work with the light and with it we can convey mood, shape, form, emotion and many other things besides. This month’s Featured Artists were all chosen because their images demonstrate that ability to work with light.
