Hello all :-))

Welcome to “An Age of Wisdom”

This group was formerly known as “Elderly”, recently discovered as having been abandoned by it’s former hosts.

Di, Damienne and I applied to RB to rejuvinate the group as it’s new hosts, and to this end it’s been temporarily closed while we get ourselves sorted with ideas and a new direction

Please take a moment to read the homepage ‘blurb’ and new guidelines. Not that we think the group wasn’t beforehand, but we really want this group to trully be an image celebration of our elder folk, of their achievements, their influence on us, and how they shaped us into who we are. This group is about honouring our elders as trully beautiful human beings … please show us your finest images, of and about elders important to you, those who’ve helped shape your lives, even the elders who you’ve met along life’s path :-))

As this group is now accepting only photographs, please do include an image description.
OR, to accompany a submitted image, a link to a journal you’ve written about your elder person/s.
Either of the above are not compulsory, but your hosts really would like to know who is the wonderful elder (or elders) in your image :-))

Hey everyone!
well sorry i’ve been a bit slack lately. busy starting university :D
but its good to see a steady stream of new members and new works.
keep them coming!

I’ve also thought it time we have another challenge.
this months theme is all about being sad.
As the weather slowly chills and the leaves fall off, it seems fitting to try and embrace all things sad, depressing and contemplative.
Of course, the works submitted need to actually involve an elderly person.

So get going!!!
