I, Strawberries, have been doing research into getting exhibitions and how hard that can be for emerging artists like us. there are a few online galleries and stuff that have credibility, but they’re biased towards traditional mediums and straight photography. so i thought, “hey, why don’t i start one for the digital, the weird, and just downright awesome”.

The group here on RB acts as the “by signing this from you give such and such the permision to such and such”, so that by joining the group, you (the artist) would then understand that there would be a blog or website outside the bubble, that would be set up, that would be then online gallery, that your work would then be showcased on. join the group and add as many works as you want, then once a month we (the hosts) discuss artists that we’ve noticed (like gallery curators do), and then feature one on RB. then, 12 works work be featured, like it was your own gallery space, you would have to come up with an artist statement (min 100 words, max 500 words), be either willing to let you work be saved or send to either of us (the hosts) small files, aprox. 500kb big, to then post on the gallery site. it would be a gallery for everyone, but will be biased towards digital, manipulations, wierd ect- stuff that isnt considered a traditional medium, as they are worth noticing and exhibiting too.
