One of the two beautiful Aspen trees that reside in our side yard. The mountains here are full of Aspens and it makes such a stunning sight to look up and just see the golden colors they create. / Kodak Z650 EasyShare Digital / / /

LAST SUMMER, I HAD TAKEN A DRIVE OVER TO RIO VISTA, CALIFORNIA, TO LOOK FOR THE ELUSIVE STRIPED BASS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DIDN’T FIND HIM, OR HER, OR THEM. I CALL IT GETTING SKUNKED. ANYWAY, AS I WAS DRIVING THE EXIT ROUTE FROM THE FISHING HOLE TO HIGHWAY 12, WHICH WOULD TAKE ME HOME, I NOTICED THIS LADY WALKING HER DOG. I COULDN’T REMEMBER WHAT SHE TOLD ME HIS NAME WAS, SO I CALL HIM MY “RIO VISTA NEWFOUNDLAND”. I HAVE A FOULDER THAT I TITLED, CHEWY SASHA AND FRIENDS. IT’S WHERE I KEEP ALL MY PHOTO IMAGES OF MY DOGS AND OTHER PEOPLES DOGS. I COULDN’T RESIST TAKING THIS GUYS SHOT. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND WANTED SO MUCH TO STAND UP ON MY DRIVERS DOOR AND SLOBBER ALL OVER MY INTERIOR PANEL. BUT, I WOULDN’T LET HIM, SO I DIDN’T TEASE HIM ANY TO TRY AND GET A PAT ON HIS HEAD OR A SCRATCH ON HIS CHIN AND NECK. THE LADY THAT OWNED HIM, SAID THEY WERE OUT IN CALIFORNIA, MOVING HER MOTHER BACK TO MICHIGAN WITH HER AND HER HUSBAND AND THEIR NEWFOUNDLAND. SINCE I WAS SITTING IN MY DRIVERS SEAT OF MY FORD EXPLORER, I USED MY KODAK EASYSHARE Z710 TO GET THIS IMAGE. IT IS STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA, NO POST PROCESSING AT ALL. MY CAMERAS BOTH OPEN INTO ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 3.0 AND I DON’T ALWAYS USE MY PHOTOS AS THEY ARE, STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA. BUT, THIS ONE GOT POSTED WITHOUT ALTERATIONS, BECAUSE I NOTICED A DRAWN NEWFOUNDLAND AND I TOLD THE ARTIST OF THE DRAWN IMAGE, THAT I HAD A PHOTO IMAGE OF THAT SAME KIND OF DOG. SO HERE HE IS IN ALL HIS MAGNIFICANT SPLENDOR.

Taken out my back door.. 3 am for some reason in the snowstorm all appeared golden yellow maybe it was something to do with the lights on the buildings… but was somehow beautiful , silent & other worldly & the shadows really captivated me too… the effects are nature and light My first outdoor night shot with my Kodak Z1285* .

These flowers grow along the roadside everywhere. Some people have baked, ground, and used the roots as a coffee substitute. I don’t drink that much coffee but i do enjoy how these little blue flowers look on the roadside. Taken with a Kodak Z1015 IS.
This little pink beauty was found still flowering even after a couple of frosts. Talk about flowers not being as delicate as they seem. Taken with a Kodak Z1015 IS

Something to think about .. This is a photograph to deeply stimulate thinking , and I ask the question, generally speaking in your life where are you going towards ? what direction ? we have so much here in this material world to consume so many of our thoughts , but what about after this life I settled that question a long time ago, when I put all my faith and trust in God through Christ & do it daily in walking with God , I recall Jesus said to them .. who do you say I am ? and the disciple. Peter . answered, “You are the Messiah, whom God has sent.” ... and can be translated > You are God’s Anointed One,” replied Peter. and also translated he said, You are “The Christ of God.” then I add this John 6:68 / Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. .. and its for us to reckon with this Jesus and consider this very honest and life changing question when you settle it, who do you say I am ? work done with my Kodak Z1285 Jesus said to us, “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

This is my representation ( photograph ) of the change of seasons.. here in NJ early November still holds within it the beauty of fall but colder and more stark beauty in my estimation, here I tried to capture some of the beautiful quiet mood… taken with my Kodak Z1285 Rick
Marseille, France was our first stop of the quickly planned trip in 2001. We had a lovely morning there shopping and just walking the streets before heading up the road to Avignon. Many thanks to ghostbones @ deviantart.com for the use of the background. Kodak DX4230
