Drive By Shooting

Group Rules:

Only 1 photo uploaded per day. Uploading more at once means you flood the group, and that’s not nice for other members.

Photo must be taken from inside a car, bus, truck, train, or some other form of wheeled transport – no exceptions. Open windows are allowed, but it does take some of the fun out of it. :)

Stay safe! This is an actual rule. We suggest that you don’t actually look through the viewfinder to compose your shot while driving….

Tell us a bit about how you captured your image in the description. Were you the passenger or driver? If the car was not moving, why was it stopped? This description is particularly important if there is no proof (ie car frame in the shot) that the photo was taken from inside a car.

We will reject images if you parked your car with the specific intention of taking photos – that’s not what we’re looking for here. I know some wildlife photographers use their car as a sort of blind – strange but effective – that’s not a drive by! However if you just parked your car and happen to spot something interesting, that does suit the group. Obviously this rule is a little “fuzzy”, but if you have any questions please contact us.

Respect other members of the group.
