. Tell us a little bit about yourself?
1.My Name is Jim Harmon and I live in the North Georgia Mountains where I find many subjects to photograph. One of my favorite subjects is old barns and buildings that I find in many areas where I live. My wife and I will set out riding the back roads looking for old barns and buildings to photograph.I once thought about a warning sign on the back of my vehicle that said”Warning – This vehicle brakes for old buildings”. While I have always had cameras, I became hooked when I had to spend time in upstate New York working one winter in 2003. I took photos of snow, and wildlife. My first album I put up on Webshots was a Featured Album. I got hooked on Photoshop work when I tried it because everyone that won the Webshots Challenges seemed to be using software. With close to 2 million views and numerous Creative Challenge wins, I just get more and more interested in photography and the challenges of setting up a shot to get the perfect image. Besides old barns and buildings, my interests also cover, Wildlife, flowers, and scenic.
2. What and/ or who brought you to the Redbubble?
I was invited to Redbubble by a few people from Webshots that had found Redbubble and decided it was a great place to share photography images. I joined and could not agree more with them that it is a great place to share my work. The people and the groups that share common interests make it.
3. What made you decide to join our group?
I joined this group because it fit in with the type of subjects I like to photograph.
4. Which image or artist in our group inspires you?
I like the style of the work by" Canonman99":http://www.redbubble.com/people/canonman99, but, I study many images that I think are good and try to learn from each.
5. Who would you thank in the redbubble for the most inspiration to you?
There are too many to mention. I see something in so many photographs that I like and try to take a piece of what made their photographs great looking and apply it to my work. I learn by studying photographs that make me take a second look. Something always makes an image standout.
6. anything else you would like to add?
I would like to thank all that voted for my image in the banner challenge. I have to say that there were a few that had me concerned because they were also good.

Jim
