Dalia was the goddess of weaving and fate in the Lithuanian mythology. She was the giver and taker of goods and property. With her sister Laimė, Dalia is often paired with Laima. Dalia was the omniscient goddess of childbirth and destiny. She was associated with various animals like ducklings, swans, cuckoos, hawks, and yearlings. She was a spinner, weaver, and seamstress. She was also believed to cut off the cloth of life. The symbol of Laima or Dalia is a distaff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalia_(mythology)

This is a place for Crime, thriller or mystery writers. A place where your imagination is free to delve into the dark mysteries of life, or to the popular stories and images that keep you on the edge of your seat – the kind that form in your head like an episode of a Police/ Forensics show or movie!
We require submissions -. Short stories, novels or novel extracts are welcome!
We have weekly, fortnightly and monthly challenges to encourage you to produce fresh – off the cuff work, as well as still providing the chance to post up the pieces that have been taking up most of your time!
As we specialise in crime/ thriller/ mystery we expect that writing and art may depict violence, death and graphic scenes, but please mark explicit works as per red Bubbles User Guidelines and keep the gore down to what is necessary, no overkill please – literally! Any works that do not adhere to these guidelines will be rejected to uphold the integrity of the group and of course red Bubble.
