This group was created to showcase the beauty of those good ole country churches and schoolhouses that we see dotting the countryside. They are quickly becoming a rare breed as they die along with their usefulness.
Please post your best photo/painting/drawing of COUNTRY churches and schoolhouses. No snapshots. 3 images a day, please..
We will accept images of churches and schoolhouses in their entirety, and interior shots (in its entirety) of these buildings.We will accept abandoned Churches and Schoolhouses.
Black and White and Sepia images are acceptable. These images must all come from COUNTRY churches and schoolhouses.
Churches/Schoolhouses in towns, cities, or villages, no matter how small will not be accepted.Please , no people..
It would be great if you could include in your description box the name, yr built, location and some history about your subject. If you have that information, but it is not a requirement.
